Hannah Coffin

Hannah Coffin, a sensibly boring name. To make up for the lack of a creative name, I like to express myself through poetry. Poetry is a creative outlet whether I am, sad, happy, in awe or in despair; my feelings are able to logically be put onto paper. Poetry also challenges me to say something profound about life in a short amount of words. Imagery and sensory poems are my favorite to write and the focal point is usually something in nature.
Aside from poetry I enjoy horseback riding. Horses are the world’s best teachers; they have always kept me totally accountable for my actions towards them. Horses have taught me patience and determination and this has been carried over to every aspect of my life. They have also supplied a steady quiet friendship that I deeply appreciate when life gets hectic.
I hope you read and enjoy the blog!
